Though I’ve built a couple commercial sites in the past, and written posts for others, somehow I’ve managed to avoid building a WordPress site of my own until now. Let me tell you, it is awful. I’ve never worked with a more convoluted piece of software voluntarily before.

3rd party plugins, “customizable” themes as rigid and fragile as dry bamboo, and the added fun of paying hosting fees while trying to figure the whole thing out! I’d advise anyone who protects their patience and pocketbooks to consider some other options before weighing into this arena themselves.

I could go on. But all I really meant to say in this post is: “Welcome, this site is a work in progress, so please disregard the empty pages, bereft of content, and enjoy what little there is.”

Feel free to drop me a line on the contact page. It may be your only chance before I chuck this stuff in the garbage and upload an HTML5 template to Github. (If that means nothing to you, don’t worry. You’re living a good life.)
